This is a sweet little lot of Danish ceramics. They date to the 1960s.
The pattern is called Tivoli - and has little cartouches on the border showing places in the Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen.
The pattern was designed as a limited edition by Jacob E. Bang for the Danish ceramics firm Nymolle - which also produced similar ceramics designed by Bjorn Wiinblad.
I love the little central cherub holding his "love bow and arrow" in the center of each wee plate or saucer - in between the views of Tivoli - there are a total of three love hearts.
They have a very festive feel to them - and they would look great for serving up little nibbles or small treats at Christmas time or Valentine's Day.
The diameter of each wee dish is 4 1/2 inches. There are a total of six in this lot - three and blue and another three are dull red. Being made in a limited edition - they are not so easy to find. They are in good condition with no issues.
