This is a fine large vintage Murano paperweight.
It has a double overlay of white and cobalt glass. The weight has which has four viewing windows or facets. There is another viewing facet on the top. Inside the weight - the centre has a large millefiori floating millefiori island layer. This is made of four quarter sections divided by a cross made of white millefiori canes. The central wafer decoration is made of tiny red and blue canes. The base of the weight has been polished. It is in good condition and scratch-free.
This is certainly a fine Murano double overlay paperweight. It is in excellent condition with no chips or scratches. This weight was a little more difficult to photograph and it probably looks better in "real life". It is unsigned by is possibly a Galliano Ferro weight from the 1980s.
