This is a lovely vintage traditional Scottish Silver Brooch.
It has not been hallmarked - but it is Sterling Silver and has a 925 impressed mark on the back. I would estimate given there are no date marks that it must date to the late 1960s / 1970s and has been hand-made.
As you can see from my photographs - a finely made piece with lots of intricate detail in the design.
The central area of the brooch has a triangular section made up of Celtic knotwork - and surrounding this is a circular outer rim with three abstract Celtic motifs.
The clasp is a simple c-scroll and has a diameter is 3.5 cm.
It is nice and clean - all ready to wear. It shall be sent in a little simple black card gift box.
