This is a nice little collectable 1960s accessory for a cyclist interested in vintage pieces.
It is a little metal cycle lamp that has never been used and comes with its original box. I think that it takes two larger batteries - it is sold untested. But given that it has never been used - I don't anticipate any issues with it.
The lamp is made of metal with a glossy black enamel paint finish. It has a wee carrying handle. The bulb is original - and is contained within the silvered and mirrored section at the front. This is covered with glass. The maker's name and branding logo which is printed on the top of the box - is stamped on the back of the light, as photographed. It looks as good as the day that it was made. - which must be over 60 years ago. This is all reflected in my asking price.
The light or lamp was made in Hong Kong. by the Tang Fun Kee M.P.G Co. Ltd.
It is a Navy Brand light. Model T303. The box claims that it is long-range, sturdy, and all metal.
Dimensions: overall height not including the handle is 3 inches x 2 3/4 inches. The depth including light section at the front is 2 3/4 inches. The handle (which folds back for storage in the box) is 4 inches.
