I have a good selection of these old miniature tins available in the store.
They come in three different colours and biscuit selections: Red, Blue and Yellow. I have taken a few group images of all the ones that I have. I am listing these individually - they are all in good condition - but with a slight patina of age - which you might expect on little tins that are now nearly 100 years old.
They were all made as sample tins - and were designed to contain tiny biscuits that you could sample to see which ones you liked. They were also purchased as wee gifts and often given as a wee "stocking filler" to children at Christmas. They are sweet little antique replicas of the larger tins that would have been on display in Grocer's shops.
They are now highly collectable and take the form of a tin cube with each side measuring 4 cm. The design has been litho printed on the metal.
This is the harder to find yellow coloured one: It has the name of popular Huntley and Palmers Biscuits on each side. This one has: Thin Captain, Cheese, Cream Crackers and Highly Baked Oval Water. On the top of the lid - there is Cornish Wafers. The base is a plain tin colour - and the inside still has a shiny patina - but now a little oxidised with age.
I have four of these in stock (ONE NOW SOLD), please choose the quantity selection if you wish more than one of them. I am listing them at £35 each tin which is a fair price for each one. - postage in the UK would be £5.50 and capped at this for any multiples. They would be sent to you with Royal Mail Recorded Post - this would be applied to your order at the checkout.
