On offer is a pair of collectable large red wine glasses by John Rocha for Waterford Crystal. The pattern on the glass is called Lume. Each glass has a Waterford sticker on the foot and is also etched with Rocha's name. They date to around 2010; the design is now harder to find as it was discontinued in 2013. These were also made in a clear colour and a black tone. These ruby red ones are harder to find and this is reflect in my asking price.
I am listing these at a very fair £110 each glass - which is a fair price and includes the original presentation box are photographed. The glasses and box are in excellent vintage condition - there are no issues with the glasses.
The two glasses are a rich claret red colour - and being hand blown and hand crafted there are slight differences - one is slightly darker than the other, as shown in my photographs.
Dimensions: Each glass is 25 cm in height and hold 500 ml of liquid.
The glasses come in there original Waterford Crystal presentation and storage box. This has two cylindrical padded compartments where each glass slides into - they are then held secure and rigid in the box. Good if you only use these for special occasions (the red colour is certainly great for a wee Valentines tipple!) and you can store them away nice and safe.
Each glass has a clear foot and a coloured stem. The glass bowl section is lemon-shaped and is a red colour with an intricate hobnail pattern near the base of the bowl - which forms an attractive decorative pattern.
