This is one of a series of vintage British tiles in my online shop.
I have six of these in total (all different forming a series) - all are framed in a plain black wooden frame (not glazed). These could be hung for a display or used as a drink or kitchen stand.
All my tiles are in good condition with no damages or loss to the image.
All nice and clean.
These tiles are now harder to source and date to around the 1960s.
Dimensions: each tile in its black wooden frame measures 16.5 cm square.
The stylistic depiction of the costumes is very reminiscent of similar tiles designed by the Scottish artist, Robert Stewart - but I don't think that these are by him. The frame hardboard backing covers the reverse of each tile - so sadly I am unable to see where these were produced.
Listed at a fair price as these are now very difficult to source, especially in such beautiful condition so it is £14.95 for each tile.
Postal discounts would of course apply if you wish more than one tile. Postage is charged as at cost to you as charged by the Royal Mail.
