These old Cornishware pieces always look great on display in your kitchen. The iconic blue and white striped pattern was introduced in 1924. The design was inspired by the blue skies and white-crested waves of Cornwall.
This is a nice sturdy teapot. It is a finely made vintage example that probably dates to before the 1960s. It has an old Green Shield mark on the base, as photographed. This mark was used on Cornishware pieces from 1930's -1960's. So my lovely teapot is at least 65 years old now.
It is In remarkable condition given its age. It has no chips or cracks - and is a lovely clean example. The spout is whole with no condition issues with it.
It is a nice size and would hold about 2 pints of liquid. It measures 5 3/4 inches in height and from handle to spout it is 10 inches.
