This is a cute little set of four Liling Chinese White Porcelain Serving Spoons.
The date to the Republic Period (mid 20th century) and were made in Liling in Human.
Each spoon is about 5 inches in length - and is decorated with an image of a young boy playing table tennis.
He pulls back his bat and gets ready to return the service of the ball.
Vintage Republic Period Chinese porcelain sauce dish, circa mid 20th Century, Made in Liling, Hunan
Each spoon is in good vintage condition. There is a little rubbing to the gold gilt on the edges of each spoon - but now hard to find items - and of course ... very cute!
Examples of these delightful little spoons are on display in the ceramics gallery at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
