This is a nice vintage 1970s Scottish Silver Bracelet. The bracelet has a central shield with a cut out Art Nouveau style pattern, The pattern is made up of wave-like scrolls. In the center of the shield there is an applied dark red stone or glass gem.
There is a light impressed 925 mark on the back of the shield in the center.
The exterior of the bracelet is plain. There are two decorative clasps or hooks at the end of each end of the bracelet. One is closed and the other is open. The open clasp hooks onto one of the little rings on the side of the shield. This is how you open the bracelet up to put it on It is quite easy to do - so you have no faffing about with fiddly clasps.
The silver bangle or bracelet is oval in shape as photographed.
It is quite a delicate piece and would be for a more slender wrist. The inner diameter of the bracelet is 16.2 cm. So if your wrist measures in the round more than that - this bracelet is not for you!
It is of a fine quality and a well-made piece of vintage silver jewellery. It is in good condition, nice and clean. It has a good shine to it. It will come in a new, good quality bracelet box so you can keep it safe or present as a gift. I have taken lots of images for your inspection.
