This is a lovely vintage Danish glass lamp. The design is often attributed to Jacob Bang.
It is one of two (of the same size and colour) that I have listed on my website. The price quoted here is for ONE LAMP ONLY.
It was made by Holmegaard Glass and dates to the 1960s. It is an anamorphic shape - like a large teardrop.
The shape is very space-age in form - and the white colour would fit in perfectly with your vintage Scandi-modern furniture.
The colour is an attractive opaque ice-white colour - much favoured by Holmegaard.
There is a brass fitment at the top of the glass neck, from which the original white plastic bulb holder issues.
There is a little grommet to the side - where the electric flex goes in, as photographed.
A nice large size: The height from the base to the top of the body section holder is 14 1/2 inches. The diameter at the widest point is 9 1/2 inches. It is 1.3 kg in weight (unpacked).
This lamp is all re-wired with new electric flex and has a nice length of flex so that you can easily connect it to your socket. This one is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It is certainly a very stylish Scandinavian glass lamp, and sold at a fair price.
Sadly - I would only be able to post to the UK. Given its size and relative delicacy being made of glass - I would have to pack it carefully in a large sturdy box - which means I would have to send as a large parcel with Parcelforce48
