This is a lovely vintage mid-century child's "ride-on" Bronco horse toy.
It is a First Edition one made by Mobo (I also had a tortoise available, but this has now been sold). These metal toys were originally made in England by D.Sebel & Co. Ltd under the MOBO trademark in 1948.
The Bronco, introduced by the company in 1948, is the best known Mobo toy. It works by the rider sitting on the horse and pushing down on the stirrups, then releasing them for the horse to move along.
My Bronco horse measures 80 cm in height and has a length of 65 cm. The overall depth of the horse is just under 20 cm. Being made of metal it has a good bit of weight to it - and it comes in at around 9 kg unpacked. So UK posting only.
It is made of steel and this has been painted with baked enamels in fancy colours. It is in good condition as photographed. It has little signs of rust - many of these old models do have to have quite a lot of condition issues. My one is nice and clean and displays well, as photographed. My price takes into consideration its condition. The paintwork is original to the horse and it has not been over-painted. The word "Mobo" is impressed on each pedal. There is a little wear to the blue paint on the pedals, only to be expected (as photographed).

It was originally retailed as a child's toy, but these are now sought after as more decorative items for interiors.
