This is a fabulous vintage Guzzini rise and fall light shade.
It dates to the early 1970s.
It is fitted with a 1972 Rolly Brevato Rise and Fall Mechanism (as photographed).
The shade is a lovely bright orange colour - and made of hard opaque plastic. It has a chrome fitting at the top - which is bright and shiny with no condition issues.
The shade is in good vintage condition - and would look good in a futuristic space-age interior.
No chips, cracks or staining.
Dimensions: Diameter at the base is 13 inches. The height is 9 inches. Overall drop on unstretched cable is 24 inches.
The shade was produced by Meblo in Yugoslavia as part of the Guzzini collection. The two studios used to act as partners in the production and sale of such shades. The height of the lampshade is adjustable and hangs on a rolling extendable chors.
These shades are much sought after in this stunning orange colour - my one is listed at a fair price.
