This is a lovely vintage paperweight entitled Fanfare (CT- 700).

It was designed in 1989 by Alistair Macintosh.

My weight is signed on the base with a low issue number: 16 out of an edition of 750. The edition was actually closed at No. 693.

Again - a lovely weight.

There is very little ground on this weight - and it is quite minimalistic in design. It has a large oval bubble in the center - this is surrounded with fine petals - a little like billowing flags or sails. The petals are very fine and are opaque white, blue and transluscent cerise in colour.

In lovely vintage condition with no damages - inscribed with issue numbers to the base etc.

Height is just over 2 1/2 inches. Diameter is about 2 3/4 inches.

Again, this is not such a common weight - and is harder is find, and this is reflected in my asking price. Indeed, when first issued back in the 1980s - it had an issue price of £45
