This is a lovely vintage paperweight entitled Fanfare (CT- 700). It was designed in 1989 by Alistair Macintosh.

My weight is signed on the base with a low issue number: 116 out of an edition of 750. The edition was actually closed at No. 693. Again - a lovely weight.

There is very little ground on this weight - and it is quite minimalistic in design. It has a large oval bubble in the center and is surrounded by fine petals - a little like billowing flags or sails. The petals are very fine and are opaque white, blue, and translucent cerise in colour.

In fine vintage condition with no damages - inscribed with issue numbers to the base etc.

The height is just over 2 1/2 inches. The diameter is about 2 3/4 inches.

Again, this is not such a common weight - and is harder is find, and this is reflected in my asking price. Indeed, when first issued back in the 1980s - it had an issue price of £45

UK Postage will be with Royal Mail Recorded Delivery - this will be charged at £4.95 and applied to your order at the checkout.
