This is a very attractive large vintage paperweight that was designed in the 1960s / 1970s in Murano, Italy.
In good vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
It is a nice large size - measuring 3 inches in diameter - and with a height of 2 1/2 inches.
This is a pretty weight made of a close-pack carpet of millefiori canes. I have taken lots of close-up images of them for your inspection. The ground is a gold colour made up of gold aventurine which twinkle when held up to the light. The weight has a flat polished base.
There are some tiny air bubble between some canes - these look like tiny pearls and also twinkle when they catch the light.
The canes have a multitude of subtle colours - petrol blues, greys and white tones. They are all of an intricate design and form.
A lovely weight that is in excellent condition, and listed at a fair price. It is sadly unsigned and has no original paper label intact. I am pricing it as a nice vintage Murano close-pack weight.
