This is a stunning piece of eye-catching vintage costume jewllery.
It is a large vintage brooch. It has a long pin on the back and closes securely with a ring clasp.
It is made from a gold-tone metal (not a precious metal, hence the price).
It dates to the late 1970s or early 1980s.
My brooch has no maker's mark on it - so it is sold as shown in my images. I am quite surprised that such a nice piece does not have a mark on it to identify the maker.
It is a good quality piece - and well made. It certainly looks stunning.
I love the raised and faceted dark brown glass inclusion - which is held firmly in place by four sturdy claws on each side.
The brooch measures: 1 1/2 inches on each side (4 cm). The stone is 1.7 cm and the overall height of the brooch is 1.5 cm.
I will carefully pack it up in a little study box to send to you. This will have to go with Royal Mail Recorded Post as a Small Parcel. This will cost £4.95 to send in the UK - and this will be applied at the checkout stage of your order.
It is a lovely piece, and as you can see - it has hardly been worn.
