This is decorative and large Cerebos Salt tin. It would have originally contained 14 lb of salt.
The decoration is litho-printed and dates to the early 1950s. It can be dated from the Royal Warrant mark which reads: By Royal Appointment to the Late King George VI .
One side features a running boy chasing a chicken with a salt cellar and the "See How It Runs" Trade Mark. The remaining sides are printed with the company name and its advertising virtues.
It is in good vintage condition with no dents, a little rubbing here and there - but nothing that would spoil how it looks on display. The interior is nice and clean with no great oxidisation to the metal. It is hinged and the hinge is present with no wobble or condition issues.
It measures 6 1/4 inches square by 10 inches high.
I have taken a lot of images for your inspection - including the images on all four sides. Due to its size - it will have to be sent as a medium parcel with the Royal Mail.
