This is a lovely vintage Scottish paperweight. It is made by Perthshire Paperweights.
It does not have a P cane - but early Perthshire weights did always have a cane in them. It does still retain its original paper label on the base, as photographed.
This is a PP1 design.
It is a little bijoux size weight about 1 3/4 inches in height and with a diameter at the widest point of about 2 1/4 inches.
The ground is a rich dark blue colour.
It has a total of twelve short spokes at the circumference in white, green and lilac twists. There is a central rosette of millefiori canes. There are canes in each section between the spokes - these are peppermint green, pinks and bluebell lilac-blue colours - very Scottish colour hues.
It is in fine vintage condition for display - no major chips or cracks or surface scratches.
