I just adore this vintage Mexican Taxco silver brooch.
It is a nice large size at has a diameter of just over 2 inches.
It has a sunshine face on the front - which is set into turquoise blue background made of tiny flecks of composite stones. As you can see from my photographs, it is in excellent condition - with no damages.
It is marked on the back as being Mexican silver - as photographed.
The sun face is two-tone - with a highly polished copper centre and gold-tone flames forming a halo around.
The outside edge of the piece is sterling silver as is the back. The brooch is fitted with a secure roll-over safety clasp as well as a sheath with a bale so the piece can also be worn as a pendant! It is being sold without a chain.
It will be sent in a little gift box to you. The brooch is nice and clean - and the silver is all nice and shiny. A great gift piece - or statement piece for wearing on a black cashmere sweater over the winter.
