This is a very unusual piece of vintage Swedish silver - it is a pie slice or utensil for serving savories and rich cakes.

This cake slice takes its inspiration from designs in Swedish Sami Folklore.
This lovely serving utensil or pie slice has all the Swedish silver marks that you might expect and with the code N9 for the year 1963. The maker's mark is for C.O Persson from the village of Haparanda.
It is in lovely condition for a piece of cutlery now nearly 60 years old. These cake slices are harder to find than the spoons - so this is listed at a very fair price.
The large flat slice is decorated with a naive design featuring a reindeer pulling a sleigh through a woodland.
The handle is ring topped and also has a sweet little Sami image engraved onto it - it shows a lady and gentleman wearing skis being pulled along by two reindeer. Hills are seen in the background.
The silverware is in excellent condition - with no dents or damages. The silver is nice and shiny with no nasty scratches. The rings on the handle top are all secure and all of them are present.
