This is a pretty little vintage evening bag or purse, dating to the 1940s or 50s.
The bag is in good vintage condition with no losses to the glass beadwork, the interior white silk lining is also nice and clean with no dirty marks.
There is a little label inside which reads: MADE IN FRANCE
This bag would be certainly very pretty for a wedding - as it is a nice ivory colour - and is quite petite so it would only hold the bare necessities that you might need on your big day - a little powder compact and lipstick etc.
As the bag does not have a handle - and is a small size to be a clutch - it might serve better as a lovely little cosmetics bag or pouch.
The bag is oblong in shape - with a flap at the front which buttons down on a little rounded beaded button to keep closed. The bag has a lovely abstract Deco pattern on the front of the top flap - made up of diamond shapes created by placing the tiny glass beads in a different direction.
On the back of the bag is a little beaded loop - so that you could pop your bag on a little belt on your dress?
The main body of the bag measures: 4 inches in height and with a width of 6 inches at the widest.
