This is a lovely little item for the specialist collector of pen related items or inkwells.

This is a sweet little Staffordshire pottery inkwell - or quill / dip pen holder.

It takes the form of a little white mound with flowers on the top - at the top is a large pink and yellow tulip - at each side are two little doves - decorated with blue glazes and touch with gold.

As you can see from my photographs - this antique piece is in very good condition - with no cracks or chips.

My lovely little dip pen holder dates to around the 1850s / 1860s.

It measures: 3 inches in height and the base has a diameter of roughly 2 ¾ inches.
