These stoppers were often sold with Edinburgh Crystal and Royal Doulton Decanters - so my decanter is British in origin. They all have an etched Edinburgh Scotland mark on the foot.

The foot is clear and plain - with no decoration. The stem of each glass has a faceted decorative knop in the centre. The bowl of the glass is bucket shaped with straight sides. The pattern has a criss-cross decoration to the base and above all around lots of little engraved fans with five upward engraved strokes forming each fan. Below the criss-cross design there are little vertical engraved spear shapes. It must be a less common pattern or one only produced for a short period.

They are nice large ones. Each is 6 3/4 inches in height. This is only noticeable if you are looking for the difference - which often happens on these glasses with them being hand-blown and the engraved decoration done individually on each by hand. This is reflected in my price.

I have listed them at a fair price of £15 for each glass. Only one of the set of six has been signed.

They are in excellent vintage condition with no damage to them - they are certainly fine glasses and in a pattern that I am particularly fond of.

These Double Old Fashioned tumblers measure as follows and would hold about 12 oz of liquid. The height of each glass is just over 3 5/8 inches. This decanter is in the very attractive GLENEAGLES Pattern which was produced from 1978 - 2006. It was always a very popular and more modernist design. This shape and pattern are now hard to source. But a great item to store your malt - and serves to guests in the matching glasses.

The decanter is in good condition with no chips or cracks - the stopper is a pointed one with facets and fits snuggly into the neck of the decanter. I must point out there is a very very faint bit of clouding to the decanter to the base - but it disappears when the whisk is in it. I have priced it to take this into consideration.

Dimensions: The height is 10 1/2 inches.
