This is a rare an very strange 1970s game ... it is supposedly for the younger age group (5+) but I am sure that it would be just as fun for a slightly inebriated adult!

Copies of this game do not turn up very often - especially in this fine condition.

The game dates to 1975 and was made by that classic games company, Parker Brothers.

And what a name for a game... Oggle Boggle.

OK - what do you do...

Very strange game and nothing to do with the more famous Boggle game.

The game consists of three cardboard heads with cut-out holes in them for the eyes. You place the heads on a smooth surface and put an eye-ball in each socket, making sure that the pupils do not show.

All players then place a fly disc on their cards in an agreed position, say, at the top of the head. Players then proceed to align the eyes on the fly by moving the card about In any direction or by rotating It.

The first to achieve the alignment then decides where all players shall next place the fly. The eyes remain in the position achieved at the end of the first round.

The player who is first 3 times is the winner.

Crazy!

Probably more of an item for a specialist vintage games collector - the graphics of Oggle Boggle are amazing and certainly a vintage classic design.

The rarity of this highly collectable and strange game is reflected in my asking price.
