So now nearly 200 years old. It was a popular print and it was often pirated with copies after the original published at this time. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere is a fine collection of prints by Heath in the collection of the National Portrait Gallery in London which lampooned the Royalty and Politicians of the Georgian era.  This print is a harder satirical print to source and is of museum quality. Another impression in just as fine condition is in the collection of the British Museum and another is in the NPG.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is one of the more sought-after prints featuring a portrait of King George IV. They don't come onto the market very often. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe print shows a caricature of the King \u003cspan\u003e(1762 - 1830) \u003c\/span\u003ein a position of authority  - and the term \"slap-up\" is northern slang and dates to around 1823.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMy print other print is in better condition than this example. This one has been laid down onto a backing card many years ago. It is stable though and not in such bad condition. I have taken a lot of images for your inspection. The price for this impression has been reduced to take into account its condition. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs you can see from all my photographs, it is in fine antique condition and has recently been professionally re-framed with a chocoloate coloured, acid-free window mount  that picks up on the colour of the King's coat - and simple black wooden frame.
