It dates to around the 1880s.   \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese little miniature figures were very popular with the Victorians - they were often prizes at funfairs - or sold by itinerant peddlers as they went from village to village and door to door selling small trinkets or ceramic wares. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe figurine features a couple of sweethearts in front of a fruiting bough.  To the left stands a little gentleman wearing a blush pink topcoat. He carries a basket of flowers. The lady sits on the right, She wears a shiny blue cobalt jacket and long skirt \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e This figure is white in colour and glazed - there are some little touches of applied colours all over the figurine to some highlight areas, as photographed.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis one is in good condition and displays well.  However, there is a little crack to the back (as photographed) - not so obvious and unseen when the figure is on display. There are tiny losses to their nose tips - please check all my photographs very carefully as they form part of my description. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI have reduced this figure right down in price to reflect the condition issues. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDimensions: Height is 6 3\/4 inches.
