It is consistent with designs from this period. The glass shade is an original one and not a later reproduction.  \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe pendant shade is a lovely tear shape with deeply engraved geometric decoration, as you might find on crystal glasses.  The brass gallery holding the shade is a replacement, but is to the same design as the original one would have been. The cable simply attaches to your light connections in your ceiling rose.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe shade measures including the holder is 7 inches in height. From the tip of the shade to the rim, measures 6 1\/4 inches and is 4 1\/4 inches in diameter at its widest point.    \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI love the engraved decorations cut into the clear glass. It is very Art Nouveau in style with a criss-cross pattern at the top and with curved lines running down to the tip and forming conjoined oval shapes.
