This pair could possibly have been made by Maling. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 16.0pt; line-height: 115%;\"\u003eThe generic name for these storage jars is \"hooped canisters\" due to there distinctive raised hoops running around the body.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 16.0pt; line-height: 115%;\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAll these old jars were designed for practical household use, storing common kitchen staples.  \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 16.0pt; line-height: 115%;\"\u003eThese ones have the letters: Lentils and Peas on the side of each canister. The lettering is sans serif and the font Art Deco in feel. The colour of the lettering is black. Both have a good bit of age to them. They remains a lovely pair of canisters and in good condition with no damages.
