This is very reminiscent of Russian Constructivist designs.

This is a more everyday version of the pattern as it is made of ceramic and the pattern is not embellished with gold. The pattern is transfer printed over-glaze and it is probably recommended that the plates are gently hand-washed and never put in a dishwasher. The over-printed design can be susceptible to wear. My ones are generally without issues.

This is one of the very largest items in this range. It is an oval creamware serving platter which measures 17 1/2 inches x 14 inches.

It is a harder-to-find piece and has no chips and hardly any cutlery marks on the surface. The glaze, as you can see in my photographs, is nice and glossy. I have a couple of smaller platters also available in my store.

There is on the base of each piece the Royal Doulton factory stamp, the Lion, Crown and Knot, the word Tango and a handwritten design number.

Due to its size and weight, it will be be with Royal Mail Tracked, Medium Parcel. This will be applied to your order at the checkout. If you like other pieces in this pattern in my store - good postal discounts would apply.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0271/1902/6240/files/1930s-royal-doulton-geometric-massive-orange-black-tango-oval-serving-platter-17-1-2-x-14-inches-british-ceramics-955.webp?v=1793740385
https://www.iconicedinburgh.co.uk/products/1930s-royal-doulton-geometric-massive-orange-black-tango-oval-serving-platter-3
