This is the last one in stock.

The plate has three stylized vignettes. To the left-hand side a little French sailor sitting below a stripey umbrella drinking a large glass of vin rouge! At the top is a little yacht with a red sail on the sea, and finally a little harbour cottage to the right.

The plate is in pretty good condition. There areiny bits of rubbing to the thin line of gilding on the edge but nothing distracting. A few cutlery marks to the surface glaze; really only seen when the plate is turned to a raking light. But only commensurate with age.

The decoration is generally intact and fresh and bright.

A lovely plate and great to bring out for celebrations or special dinner parties or just for display in your 50s kitchen.

This is dinner plate is 9 inches in diameter.
