It dates to the 1950s but looks back to earlier Art Deco designs for inspiration.

It was made in Bohemia / Czechoslovakia, so central European in origin.

These little glass flasks are now getting difficult to find, especially in such lovely condition and with its original magnificent glass stopper.

The flask is oval shaped in the body section. It is made of clear glass. The bottom half has a white opaque textured frosted finished. The top section is decorated all the way up with shiny silvered concentric hoops. The neck of the decanter is on a slope and has a rather jaunty angle. The neck is coloured inside and out with the same silver finish. There are no losses to the silver (a rare occurence!). There is also the large decorative and heavy glass stopper. This is made of a chunk of polished black glass and faceted all around the top is hexagonal in shape.

The flask and stopper are in excellent vintage condition with no damages. It is certainly an eye-catching piece and will look great on Deco chrome drinks tray with little clear cocktail glasses with silver stripes. It will also look good on a vintage cocktail bar.

It is a harder to find item now, especially in this condition. This is reflected in my asking price.

Dimensions: The height to the top of the stopper is 9 1/4 inches. The diameter of the body at the widest point is 4 1/2 inches. The diameter of the foot is 2 3/4 inches. The height of the decanter body is 7 1/2 inches. The length of the black glass stopper is 4 inches.

The decanter will be sent to you with Royal Mail Tracked Post (Small Parcel). This will be applied to your order at the checkout.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0271/1902/6240/files/1950s-czech-art-deco-style-glass-decanter-with-silvered-hoops-faceted-black-stopper-european-251.webp?v=1793272446
https://www.iconicedinburgh.co.uk/products/1950s-bohemian-czech-glass-decanter-silvered-hoops-faceted-black-glass-stopper
