This is a fabulous piece of vintage 1950s abstract pottery.

It takes the form of a sculptural twin handled vase or pot.

It is more of a decorative piece than a functional one.

The vase is very wide - measuring some 15 3/4 inches wide - with a depth of only 4 1/4inches at the widest point.

The height is 6 1/4 inches.

Unpacked it is just over 1 kg in weight.

It is made by Crown Devon - and I have never seen another like it by them - so this is a rare survivor.

It will look fabulous on display in a mid-century interior.

I love the white textured exterior with the abstract leaves. This contrasts with the glossy scarlet interior.

A very unusual and eye-catching piece.

Due to its size, it will probably have to be limited to the UK posting. Its larger size will push up posting costs a little - as it will have to be sent Royal Mail medium parcel all tracked and traced.
