It was made by Elle Pottery, Norway and dates to the late 1950s or early 1960s.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe plate is fully inscribed with the maker's details on the reverse. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe company started in 1942 in Torkildstranda in Drøbak near Oslo. It was led by Tor Samuelsen. They produced beautiful stylised designs right up until 1967. Elle pieces are now starting to become highly collectable.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMy plate is made of a thicker stoneware type of ceramic. A great larger size for display with a diameter of about 11 1\/2 inches.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt would look great hung on a wall in a Scandi-modern interior or on display on a coffee table. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis large platter will have to be sent to you with Royal Mail Tracked (Medium Parcel).
