Their logo is on the burnished lozenge on the top of the box.   \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is a collectible little box. It was issued to First Class Passengers sailing in the 1950s on P\u0026amp;O Cruises - presented with the compliments of the Managing Director and Chairman of the Company.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe box is of square format and made of textured metal with a gold-tone finish. The box is hinged (as photographed) and stands on four ball feet. This one is more unusual in that it has a decorative clasp applied to the front section of the box. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOn the lid is the P\u0026amp;O Coat of Arms - with the motto \"Quis nos separabit\" (who will separate us). In the center of the lid is the P\u0026amp;O Coat of Arms and the motto \"Quis nos separabit\" (who will separate us). The arms include depictions of creatures that you might see on your cruise destinations: a lion, an elephant, a kangaroo, and a dragon - all contained within a shield\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe interior of the box is lined with vibrant purple velvet.  \u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThe velvet is totally clean with no stains or fading etc to the fabric. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDimensions: 7.5 cm square - with a height of about 4.5 cm \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is in fairly good condition for its age - with a couple of little light areas of rubbing to the gold tones on the sides where the box has been picked up over the last 70 years. So I would say in pretty good condition for its age.
