Working & Recently Fully Re-Wired

This is a stylish vintage lamp dating to the late 1950s or 1960s. (Lamp B).

It is certainly an elegant minimalistic shape and made of a solid piece of heavy teak. It is very substantial. The grain is just beautiful, as is the rich colour. I have taken a few close-up photos so you can see all the graining to the wood.

There are no maker's names on this lamp that I can see, but stylistically I always believed it to be Scandinavian / G-Plan Style and dates to the 1950s onwards.

It is in good vintage condition with no cracks, nasty chips etc . The wood has a natural satin finish with no dulling to the patina. This will look simply stunning in a Scandi-modern interior, and would look its best on a Scandinavian or G-Plan cabinet or buffet bureau.

The height is from base to top of the bulb holder 15 inches. It has a diameter of 4 inches at the widest point. It is 1.2 kg unpacked so a good bit of weight to it. There is no danger of such a tall wooden lamp toppling over.

Fully re-wired and working. There is about 2 1/2 meters plus of cable on the lamp so you can move it to a socket easily. There is an on-off switch in the bulb holder.

A lovely lamp in good vintage condition ; just select a new shade to suit your interior and taste.

£50.
