It is a finely made vintage example that probably dates to before the 1960s. It has an old Green Shield mark on the base, as photographed. This mark was used \u003cspan\u003eon Cornishware pieces from 1930s -1960s. So my lovely teapot is at least 65 years old now.  \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is In good vintage condition given its age. It has no chips or cracks. The spout is whole with no condition issues with it. It does have a very teeny weeny fleabite to the rim of the lid. I have just noticed this recently and have reduced the asking price down to take this into account. You really cannot see the chip, but it is there. The last three images on the listing show the area in question in extreme close up. But a fair price for this harder to find pot.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is a nice size and would hold about 2 pints of liquid.
