On / off Switch on the Base

This is an attractive vintage desk lamp. It is in lovely condition and of course, working.

The shade is made of a very shiny chrome metal which is in good vintage condition. The interior of the shade is white in tone.

The shade is perched on an upstand and it can be angled into a variety of positions. I love how the power cable from the bulb holder comes out the top of the shade and transverses down the centre of the metal stand on the lamp.

The base is also covered in chrome metal and has the on / off switch on the base.

A fine vintage desk lamp - sadly, it does not have a maker's name attached but it is British in origin and takes a modern bayonet bulb.

A good size for a desk or office space and it measures 14 inches in height. Unpacked the lamp weighs 1.1 kg.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0271/1902/6240/files/1960s-chrome-desk-lamp-with-movable-shiny-ball-shade-on-off-switch-the-base-vintage-491.webp?v=1788630967
https://www.iconicedinburgh.co.uk/products/1960s-chrome-desk-lamp-movable-shade-on-off-switch-on-base
