It is Model No. 1164/66 (it still has its original sticker, as photographed). This one is in my inventory as Lamp B,

The lamp has a circular stand made of a solid chrome tube with the up-stand twisting and snaking upwards. The shade is made of a bright tangerine / yellow plastic with the interior of the shade lined with a silver coloured metal. The shade can be tilted to the front and back from its resting position.

It is in good condition with no disfiguring damages. There is one tiny scuff to the plastic, as photographed and which you can only really see on close-up inspection; not when it is on display. The colour of the shade is nice and bright with no fading. There are no scorch marks from heat from the light bulb at any point in the past. The chrome parts are nice and shiny.

The lamp has its original finger switch and plug. It does have a rather short length of flex - it is only over a meter in length. It takes a screw in light bulb - an E27. This is readily available in UK Shops.

The lamp is about 50 cm in height. The diameter of the circular chrom tube base is 9 1/4 inches (23.5 cm). The shade measures 8 inches in diameter and it is 6 inches high.

These lamps do not come onto the market that often - and this yellow colour is highly desirable. I have taken the little area of restoration to the scuff on the shade - and this is indeed a very fair price for these lamps (no reductions in price). Some speclialist dealers are listing a pair at over 3,000 Euros.. yikes!

HISTORY: Staff Leuchten was establish by Alfred Staff and Otto Schwarz in West Germany in 1945. Strangely - their business started as a shop for consumber goods in wood and metal - and they also sold pesticide for controlling the Colorado Potato Beetle - which was a huge problem at that time.

Over the next three decades Staff transformed into a world leader in design and were given hundreds of design awards for excellence.

The lamp will be sent with Parcelforce24. This will be applied to your order at the checkout. I will take out private insurance for the lamp for you - to make sure that it is covered against loss or damage in transit.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0271/1902/6240/files/1960s-german-space-age-table-lamp-by-arnold-berges-for-staff-leuchten-b-1970s-155.webp?v=1784744106
https://www.iconicedinburgh.co.uk/products/1960s-german-space-age-table-lamp-by-arnold-berges-for-staff-leuchten-b
