It takes the form of a large sculptural model of a Viking Warrior. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIt has its original Skruf Glass label on the side and has an etched signature Hellsten, Skruf.  These pieces of Brutalist sculptural works were designed by Lars Hellsten. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eLars Hellsten studied sculpture and ceramics at the College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm and joined Orrefors in 1972. He brought new ideas in design and new techniques in glassmaking as well as revitalizing older processes.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eHis artistic vision and technical innovation made him one of the modern masters of glass design.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eHellsten is represented at the National Museum in Stockholm, Röhsska in Gothenburg, the Museum of Art and Design in Oslo, the Corning Museum of Glass in the USA, the National Museum of Modern Art in Kyoto.\u003c\/span\u003e \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eMy lovely Viking Warrior is in excellent condition with no damage.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHe is a larger example - measuring some 14.7 cm (5 3\/4 inches) in height. At the widest point, he is 13 cm and he has a depth of  5.5 cm. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eUnpacked he weighs 1.5 kg. This is a fair price for one of these largest signed models.
