He is out in the rain and splashing in a puddle. He removes his rainhat and sprinkles his head with water from the puddle below his feet. I love the illustrations of all the little elephants cavorting around the raised rim of the bowl. The other bowl features a little comical bear dressed as a sailor. The sits in a little round red boat and is fishing. Two seagulls are in the sky above.
