This is a fabulous West German vase.
It was made by Ruscha pottery in the 1960s and is decorated all over with a bright red volcano glaze.
The glaze is so thick that it bubbles and formed little crater formations on the surface (as photographed).
The glaze is also so thick that you can't see any maker's details which might have been on the base - but now are covered over.
A lovely organic shape - and measures 6 ½ inches in height and is 5 ¾ inches at its widest point.
In excellent condition, with no damages.
