The model does not show his legs which are implied to be under the surface of the river that Mr Hippo is wallowing in. He dates to the 1970s.  \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIt is a fine piece from the Kosta Boda glass from the Zoo Series - which features stylised animals - made in clear glass - often with flat backs or bases. This cute wee hippo was designed by Bertil Vallien.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIn excellent vintage condition with no damages. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eAs you can see from my photographs - the detailing and modelling are very detailed and certainly beautifully rendered. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eMr Hippo is about 5 1\/4 inches in length.
