Cute Burnt Orange Interior

This is a strange angular space-age / brutalist hanging pendant light shade. It is designed to hang from your ceiling as a hanging shade and would not be suitable for a lamp.

It is made of mirrored finish chrome panels - contrasted by silver brushed steel ones - which gives texture to the silver shades. The thing that I like best about this is and the interior of the metal is shade is a matte burnt orange enamel.

It is a strange shape and structure. The central section is made of a square section made up of a sheet of the shiny chrome metal. The brushed steel metal makes up the corner sections on the outside. These corners are attached to the central zone by little pegs or raised rivets which are both functional and decorative.

The electric flex and bulb issue from the center of the H-shaped support metal bracket at the top, as photographed.

Something about it reminds me a little of a1960s or 70s space-age version of a Charles Rennie Mackintosh hanging lantern.

I am sure all this makes more sense if you look closely at the structure on my images. I have tried to take from a variety of angles for your inspection.

The main body is 12 inches in height - and 6 inches square.

The shade does not have a maker's name but it is well made, It is very unusual and you might not see another quite like it in a hurry.

It would be sent to you with Parcelforce24. Tracked and signed. This would be applied to your order at the checkout.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0271/1902/6240/files/1970s-space-age-chrome-metal-angular-hanging-pendant-lamp-shade-or-lantern-cute-burnt-orange-interior-235.webp?v=1788509467
https://www.iconicedinburgh.co.uk/products/1970s-space-age-chrome-metal-angular-hanging-pendant-lamp-shade-orange-interior
