This is an interesting vintage 1960s or 1970s vintage 9-carat solid gold ring.
It is a quirky Brutalist style - with a nice thick hoop.
The front of the ring has a raised abstract shape as decoration - a little like a starburst or spiky flower head.
The ring decoration is like a cluster made up of a random series of tiny conjoined bands engraved with little parallel channels and fine raised spikes which are embellished with the addition of 7 little faceted ruby chips - each held little ruby is held in place with four little claws.
It is a lovely and more unusual gold dress ring and a larger more substantial size being UK size P - as photographed.
The ring weighs about 57 grams.
It is stamped on the inside of the hoop 9k.
It is being sold in fine vintage condition, all nice and clean suitable as a gift - and sent in a good quality ring box.
