This is an interesting vintage 1960s or 1970s vintage 9-carat solid gold ring.
It is a large size ring - with a thick gold hoop, with funky wishbone-shaped fretwork shoulders at each side. A most unusual vintage design.
The front of the ring has a large oval smoky brown quartz stone - this is all cut with facets. It sits on the raised gold setting on four geometric claws, as photographed. The stone is raised above the finger level to some height - over a centimeter ... so it will certainly catch the eye and look quite flamboyant when worn.
The stone measures: 1.5 cm x 1 cm - so a fine large faceted dark smoky brown quartz - the brown stone looks fine with the warm gold tones of the setting.
It is a lovely and more unusual gold dress ring and a larger more substantial size being UK size P - as photographed.
It is fully marked with production details inside the hoop.
It is being sold in fine vintage condition, will be sent all nice and clean suitable as a gift - and sent in a good quality ring box.
UK Postage will be with Royal Mail Special Next Day Delivery. This will cost £5.50 and applied to your order at the checkout.
