This is an interesting vintage 1960s or 1970s vintage 9-carat solid gold ring.
It is a large size ring - with a fine gold hoop, decorative triangular fretwork shoulders at each side.
The front of the ring has a large oval smoky yellow citrine stone - this is all cut with facets. It sits on a raised gold setting - with a band of vertical posts all around - and held in place by a total of six claw settings. I hope that you manage to see all this in my photographs... with all the strange angles it is certainly a harder ring to photograph.
It is a lovely and more unusual gold dress ring and a larger more substantial size being UK size S - as photographed.
It is fully marked with all production details and gold hallmarks inside the hoop.
It is being sold in fine vintage condition, all nice and clean suitable as a gift - and sent in a good quality ring box.
