It was by Perthshire Glass - looking to earlier Monart and Strathearn glass vases for inspiration.  It is not a MONART or VASART vase, and it is later in creation. It has been hand-blown, so is still a unique piece. It has a raised ground pontil as you might expect to fine on earlier pieces - but no wear on the base associated with it being older. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eAll the same, this is a lovely piece of vintage Scottish glass - it is a tall trumpet-shaped vase with a slightly flared rim. The rim has inclusions of speckled dark glass which creates swirling patterns - and there are also a hint of some silver aventurine inclusions (not many just a sprinkling and you need to see these in sunlight).  \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe main body colour is a clear sky blue colour - it is mottled with random flecks on opaque white glass - and with a darker more royal blue coloured gather to the rim. This blue is swirled about to create an attractive vortex pattern. I have taken lots of images for your inspection. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eDimensions: Height is 8 1\/2 inches.
