This is some of the two smaller ones measuring some 7 1\/4 inches in height.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is triangular in form with only a single stylized letters on one side (my other ones have letters on each side), as photographed. The top of each side is arch shaped. I love the lettering - with its strange shapes and dynamic colours. It was designed by the Italian Constructivist artist Marcello Morandini and dates to the late 1980s.  We were quite taken by the display of his works at the Gallery of Modern Art in Rome - and have added a couple of images to my listing of us admiring his works - including a full alphabet which was on display there.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMorandini  was born in Mantua in 1940 and studied in Milan. He founded his own studio in 1962. He gained international recognition through\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eexhibitions in Venice and New York. His work combines art, architecture and design in a\u003cspan\u003e u\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 0.875rem;\"\u003enique, constructivist design vocabulary.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI have two different smaller ones and the rarer large one. Here, the letter depicted is P\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is fully marked on the base. It is in perfect vintage condition with no damages. My Morandini all look rather stunning - and indeed I am rather tempted to keep them.. oh! hard decisions. It will certainly be a bit of a showstopper in a modernist interior.
