It is decorated with a rich tenmoku glaze with random black mottled tiger stripe decoration.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eIt has a diameter of 7 1\/2 inches and a height of 5 1\/2 inches. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eIt has an impressed mark towards the stoneware base - an entwined KS. I think that this is the mark for Keith Smith. It probably dates to the 1980s. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eKeith Smith was born in London in 1946. In the early 1970s he attended Harrow Art School studying Studio Pottery. In 1979 he established the Otterton Mill Pottery in Devon where he worked until 1999.
