Open Edition","description":"\u003cp\u003eThis is another one of my fine vintage Scottish Caithness Glass paperweights. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt dates to 1993 and is entitled BLUE SPLASH and was designed by Alastair MacIntosh.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is a more minimalistic design. A simple classic Caithness one and is a spherical weight - the clear glass is filled with a speckled blue and light purple clean base tone with a hollow in the center like a whirlpool - above is a large silver air bubble and to the top, a ring of tiny random controlled white bubbles forming a halo. The white halo ring also contains pretty pearl-sized air bubbles, all as photographed. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis one certainly looks very pretty on display - and despite being good quality work - it won't break the bank.  It is a slightly more common weight - this is reflected in the lower listing price. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI have taken lots of photographs for your inspection. It is signed with the issue details below.
